The 5-piece emo band from Perth draw inspiration from bands like American Football, Brand New, Moose Blood and Turnover, offering an instrumental blend and fresh take on the alternative genre that bleeds the lines between emo, indie rock and poppunk. Lyrically, the band expresses retrospective insight and explores nostalgic values which has proven to be a winning combination leading to the band building a strong and dedicated fanbase in their hometown of Perth during their short tenure on the local scene. Recently signing with Penultimate Records, Triggerlip now share a home with bands like Handguns (USA), Forever Came Calling (USA), Bukowski (AUS), Castlefield (CAN) and are ready to drop their debut EP.
Joining is local legends Hope Street who have solidified their place as an emerging force in the local scene following the release of their latest single "Back to the Grey" earlier this year and hard hitting support slots for The Bennies, Against Me!, This Misfits and a WAM Punk Song of the Year nomination. Also playing are Carrington who have been slaying the scene for years, Last Lions & Thank You Frank!
